12" Analog Clock - CL-A12
Status: Current
Viking’s Wireless Clock System provides reliable, accurately synchronized clocks for your entire facility. Eliminating dedicated clock wiring can save you thousands of dollars on installation and also allows for easy retrofitting of an exisiting installation. The system is comprised of a CTG-2 master clock, a CL-RFT clock RF transmistter and Analog or Digital wireless slave clocks. Working on Viking’s 915-928MHz fequency hopping technology eliminates interference with other wireless products and requires no FCC license, eliminating extraneous fees. The received signal remains strong even under the effects of noise, obstructions or long distances which tend to decrease the signal to noise ratio. Installation is a cinch for our wireless clocks, just insert the batteries or connect power and hang them. That’s it.

Viking’s CL Series wireless clocks incorporate multi-function software as well as a microprocessor based movement. The clocks include automatic calibration, as well as enhanced diagnostic functionalities that allow the user to view the quality of the signal, how long since the last time the clock received a signal, and a comprehensive analysis of the clock itself and remaining battery life. The 12 and 16 inch wireless Analog clocks receive an RF clock data update every 4 hours (standard) or 12 hours (economy) allowing for a battery life of over 5 years. The 2.5 and 4 inch digital clocks are powered by an included 24V power adapter and receive an RF clock data update every minute.

Viking also offers a complete line of accessories for the Analog or Digital clocks such as: double mount housings, wire guards and surface mount housings (for digital clocks only).

FXO / FXS / Telecom Smart Paging Interface - FXI-1
Status: Beta
Viking’s FXI-1 universal paging interface allows you to provide paging from virtually any type of phone system instead of from a microphone. You can also provide background music and electronic night bell over the audio system. The FXI-1 provides 30V talk battery for interfacing with an FXO or unused analog line input/trunk port. With the flip of a switch, the unit can connect to a FXS or PABX station ring trip port. No power supply is required in this mode. In the event that it must be connected to a “dry” 600 ohm paging port, the built-in voice activation (VOX) is in control. This configuration is useful when interfacing with systems that do not provide a paging contact closure, such as Panasonic, South Western Bell, Intertel, etc. In all modes the FXI-1 provides normally open or normally closed relay contacts to activate the central paging amplifier equipment or connect to an external background music source. After paging, the FXI-1 auto disconnects on CPC, busy signal, silence or default disconnect timer. An electronic night bell over paging feature can be activated from a momentary phone system contact closure (FXO and page port mode only).

Status: Current
Model K-6000-DVA can automatically notify up to 1000 people of an event or an event cancellation, school or business closing or delayed opening. The K-6000-DVA is designed to connect to a standard analog CO line, PABX station or VoIP ATA or FXS port. To activate the unit, an authorized official calls the K-6000-DVA, dials a 6 digit access code, selects a pre-recorded message or records a live message up to 1 minute, then activates the unit via a touch tone command to automatically call all the phone numbers in a pre-programmed group. Up to 6 groups of phone numbers can be pre-programmed into the unit. Alternatively, activating an “All Call” command calls all pre-programmed numbers.

The K-6000-DVA can also be activated (or cancelled) by up to 8 external momentary push buttons (not included). In the event any called number is busy or doesn’t answer, the unit will retry the unanswered numbers several times (programmable 1-9) after all other numbers are called. The maximum number of rings before calling the next number is programmable 1-8 rings (6-48 seconds). The unit waits 2 seconds for touch tones after the message is delivered, if a * is detected, the message is replayed once. For critical applications, the K-6000-DVA can be programmed to require a positive confirmation - the called party must send a pre-determined touch tone to confirm that the message was received. The K-6000-DVA can be programmed from your PC’s USB or RS-232 port.

Self Amplified Paging Control Unit with IR Remote - SA-25
Status: Current
The SA-25 can directly drive up to 25 self amplified speakers. Speakers can be the Viking model SA-1S self amplifier ceiling speaker, the Viking model SA-1H self amplified paging horn (pending). The SA-25 is backwards compatible with the older legacy Valcom and Bogen self amplified speakers, or any combination of the above. The Viking self amplifier speakers have the added advantage of only requiring a one pair wire loop to install all the non polarity sensitive speakers. The provided SA-IR Infrared Remote controls volume, mute, and enable/disable background music at each speaker as required.

The SA-25 provides paging, loud ringing, and background music when connected to electronic or 1A2 Key systems, PABX’s, No-KSU phones, multi-line phones, as well as IP phone systems (that have an analog FXS or FXO port). The SA-25 paging control unit can interface with a paging port or a ringing analog FXS, CO/Centrex line, PABX/KSU station port or an FXO, unused telephone line input (trunk port).

The SA-25 will generate loud ringing from a ringing analog line or from a dry contact closure. Either a loud electronic warble sound or one of three other soft chime sounds may be selected. An external “night transfer” switch can be added to turn loud ringing on or off in night bell applications. If a music source is connected to the SA-25, background music can be enabled or disabled at any Viking self amplifier speaker using the provided SA-IR infrared remote control. Background music is inhibited during paging. The SA-25 is easy to install and comes complete with a power supply. Self Amplified Paging Expander/Adapter - SA-X12
Status: Current
The Viking SA-X12 expander / adapter is an economical way to expand an existing paging system, while adding remote control to the new speakers. The SA-X12 can be connected to any existing paging audio source including 600 ohm line level, 4, 8, or 16 ohm speaker level, or even 25 volt and 70 volt paging systems. It can also be connected directly to the 2-wire protocol (40VDC + Audio) of another SA-X12 or the Viking SA-25 paging controller to add even more self amplified speakers.

The SA-X12 takes audio from any paging or background music source, and combines it with 40 volts DC to run Viking self amplified speakers. The added Viking SA Series speakers will have the features of the existing paging system, plus have the added feature of being remote controllable.

The SA-X12 can directly drive up to 12 Viking self amplified speakers which include the model SA-1S self amplifier ceiling speaker, and the SA-1H self amplified paging horn. Viking self amplified speakers have these advantages: 1) Audio and power are on the same pair (less copper). 2) Power is 40VDC for lower current and smaller gauge wire (less copper then older 4-wire 24 volt systems). 3) Non-Polarity sensitive for easier wiring. 4) Each speaker is infrared remote controllable so there is no need to install volume controls on the walls, or climb up ladders to adjust the volume.

The SA-IR Infrared Remote and SA Series speakers are available separately.
